WEC promotes community strategies for saving the Popoto, found along the west coast of New Zealand's North Island.
Raglan Area School students and WWF teamed up with WEC in 2004 to create a series of postcards, for sale at the centre.
Maui's Dolphin Day is an annual event in Raglan, raising awareness with activities such as an art competition, Xtreme Waste recycled raft race, performances and speeches.
