Sustainable September brings together a group of talented tutors and a bunch of folk from our community to learn how to be more sustainable.
In 2009 we got back to basics and learnt 'Bread Making’, ‘Tree Care & Pruning’, ‘Bee Keeping’ ‘Making and Repairing Your Clothes’, ‘Seed Collection’, ‘Bike Maintenance’ and ‘Earth Brick Making’.
In 2010 we are planning Cheese Making, 'Wine Making' and 'Fabulous Fungi'. We won’t break the bank with our costs: all 2-3 hour workshops are around $10 -$15each.
Kids also get hand on sessions with paper making, jewellery making and our favourite: worm farming.
Let us know what you want to learn about and we will see if we can provide it.
